Matt is offering to pay for one student’s $375 first half fee for the Fraser River Middle School bus service. (The submission process will return in December to earn payment for the second half.) The winner will be hand picked based on the following submission criteria:
In 679 words or less, please explain (in your own words, no help from mom & dad), how your behaviour demonstrates commitment, routine and a strong work ethic. What do you do every week to improve?
Examples:
- Attend music lessons/athletics practices regularly. Practice and improve on what you were taught before the next session. What is your routine? Do you have a method to track and celebrate your improvement?
- Part time job (babysitting, mowing lawns, yard clean up, paper route)? What is your routine or preparation to make sure you do a great job?
- Do you have a passion for learning? Are you reading something interesting every day? Explain how you build on that information to learn new things and create expressions of your own (writing, visual art, design, coding, construction/inventions, cooking).
Written submissions are required (email to matt.brabbins@gmail.com). You have the option to add photos, a video explanation, or samples of your work as well. All submissions will be kept confidential, but you are welcome to have a parent post them to my Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/mattbrabbinsrealtor/) if you are proud of your work and want to share it publicly.
Submission deadline: 9:00pm September 22nd (no exceptions. get it in early)

Why am I doing this? It can be a long trip to get to Fraser River Middle School. I want to support the bus program and help raise awareness of the service. I want students who are committed to self-improvement to have time in the day to work on the things they enjoy rather than walking 30+ minutes each way, draining their time and energy.
