After 21 years in real estate Gerry retired January 2014 and trusted his business to Matt.

Throughout 4 years of partnership Gerry taught Matt the importance of specializing in a local market and the value of giving honest information, even if it’s not what the client wants to hear.

It was a form of apprenticeship that had Matt taking the lead on hundreds of local transactions over a very short time. All rookie agents (of any age) benefit immensely from mentorship. The public enjoys the greatest benefit, with one more agent not making ’learn as you go’ mistakes that in the end, cost the client.

Gerry dedicated countless hours to his community. He now lives on the Sunshine Coast, after moving from his home of over 20 years on 7th ave in the West End.
